 The 2013 annual RLI Champions 1800 Golf Tournament plans are underway. Once again we will be playing at the Golf Club at South Hampton. We expect a beautiful day, lots of sunshine and no rain and of course FUN GOLF!

RLI Golf Classic - 2011

On October 25, RLI once again held its annual Champions 1800 Golf Classic. This event is the fundraiser for RLI and, as always, it turned out GREAT!

Super weather, awesome golf, a new silent auction, incredible food and wonderful fellowship.

We want to thank all the players who came out and enjoyed the event and especially all of the SPONSORS - you guys are really wonderful.

We had a several guests player this time, both Gators. Bob Tebow (yes, he is Tim Tebow's dad) and Orson Mobley, former Denver Bronco TE. You can see them in action in pictures below.

God is Great in Voronezh, Russia!!!
As we fully expected, God was so gracious to meet with us in Voronezh over the past few days. Not only was He with us in the teaching sessions, but His presence was felt in all of our activities. Our worship times were outstanding, allowing God to speak to our students about their futures as well as their pasts.

Once again, we are so grateful for your love and support in these critical days. As I leave on the train once again, I am reminded that we are engaged in an epic battle for the hearts and minds of the people of the Central Black Soil Region of Russia. Only time will tell how many will embrace our Lord as Sin Bearer..... Please continue to pray for our work as we seek God's will and ways.....

Voronezh, Russia is absolutely beautiful in the springtime... I just arrived here yesterday after 2 wonderful days in Chicago with my granddaughter Amelia.... ( along with my sond and his wife and my daughter Mary who came along.

I will teaching our church planting student for 3 days on the subject of Eschatology, the doctrine of the last days. As you might imagine, in light of the current events around the world, there is a tremendous interest in this biblical doctrine right now. Please pray for us in the next few days as we try to bring some sense to the nonsense that is prevailing in this current atmosphere.... Thanks again for all of your love, prayers and support!

GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS!!!

For the last five years we have been working to bring a saturation church planting movement to the Central Black Soil Region of Russia. We have had the privilege of training almost 50 new church planters who are committed to starting new churches in areas where there are no churches or any gospel witness. One of the greatest needs we have is helpers who can come alongside our students and help with the work. By God's grace we recently discovered a Russian training center right here in our city!! This school has over 70 young people who are training to do evangelism and church planting in the former Soviet Union. All of them are fluent in Russizn and excited to get to the " old country" as soon as they can to help in the fight. We are currently in discussion with their leaders to develop a plan to have their students join our planters as interns. What a great gift from God! This single development could move our mission forward exponentially in a very short time period... The story continues....

It's funny the things that matter the most in life ...... Like sitting in the Atlanta airport waiting to leave for Moscow.... What is it that makes me frantic? Did I bring my money ? I hope I packed my teaching notes ....'did I bring my passport? My contact phone numbers for friends in Moscow? No, none of these things has me on edge.... So what? I've contacted all of my family to say goodbye... Except one son... Why can't I get in touch with him? I always say goodbye to my family... And I LOVE YOU! I never leave my family without doing that... That's the last thing I want my family to hear me say... Because they matter... Really matter to me.... And I love to tell them that I love them.... People are all that really matter.... Whether in staying home or going far away, people are all that really matter.... That's why the gospel is about people.... And about the One who became a human being so that we could be given the right to be like God.... To share His destiny, carry His message to those who have never heard. Thank God for His wondrous grace.... And thank Him that my son finally called me! Now I can relax...., now I can rest and get ready for all that God has planned for me this next few days.....please pray for the people of the Black Soil Region of Russia.... They matter to God.... Really matter
